Today’s a big day for us at Redux as we reveal new features, get some international attention, invite 1500 new users to the site, and start counting down the days until we go public… The clock is ticking.
For those of you who haven’t visited Redux before, welcome. We’re here to be your entertainment guide to the web, bringing you the best, personalized entertainment out there. And when I say ‘we’, I mean a whole community of users who are passionate about finding great entertainment. Whether it’s funny videos, sports highlights, TED talks, or dance music, we’re sure there are people who are as excited as you are about it on Redux.
For those of you who are already Redux members, thanks for helping us get this far! We’ve got a new feature for you… TV Mode! The new TV button at the top of your stream makes it easy to watch all the videos in your stream one after another – now you can sit back, relax, and let the web entertain you. Of course you can also see comments, give props, move between videos, and change streams. We love this new mode for watching all of the latest content on Redux (via the Everyone/My Network stream) and for showing of all our favorite content to friends (using the My Profile stream), or for just surfing through channels on Redux.
For those of you who’ve told us you’re running Redux on your TV – welcome to the free entertainment nirvana some of you described as “crowdsourced TV.”
Our goal when starting Redux was to create a personalized entertainment guide to the web – a way for all of us to discover and watch the best entertainment on the web in real-time. We’ve come a long way in the past 5 months and it’s been great hearing all your suggestions and feedback (we’d love to hear more!).
Stay tuned to the stream,
Team Redux

My first reaction is this is great but I really want it integrated with something like Boxee or Miro (even Facebook or Friendfeed). You have something good here, but use the site as a base and the information as a platform to expand.
Hey Manielse,
Glad to hear you like it, and we have plans to introduce connectivity with a variety of other services as we progress. For our private beta, we selected the most popular services (Twitter and Facebook) for integration and will be expanding from here. I’d love to hear more about which services you feel would be most useful to you and why so we can accommodate you and others like yourself as we grow both our community and our range of integration. Hit me up directly at andy@redux.com and let’s chat
Cheers,

Hey Manielse,
Stay tuned, as we are putting the finishing touches on some integration features that will accomplish just that (or, hit me up directly at andy@redux.com if you want to try it out before it’s officially out).
