Until I was introduced to Redux’s Reanimation channel I thought that, besides the occasional Pixar film, my animation watching days were over. This is because in my adult life I haven’t been super into animated tv shows or movies, but the channel’s curator archicize has shown me that the world of animation has much, much more to offer. Archicize has some impeccable taste and shares pretty much ever style of animation you could imagine (and some that are so mind-blowing you could never imagine). Here are some my favorite videos he’s posted in the past week that you should check out:
This playful Japanese short inspects the relationship between the second and hour hand on an alarm clock.
I was completely entranced by the animation in this short. It felt as though I’d jumped into a painting and got a glimpse of what goes in the canvas.
In this computer animation two characters have quite the time while waiting for their bus in the freezing cold. It was a light and entertaining piece that made me laugh.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!
