Yes, I know what you’re thinking. With a name like that, you’re going to read this blog post for sure or you might think that I’m part of a crazy cult.
No, the Whore Church isn’t some demonic cave where animal sacrifices are performed for the great lucifer. Nor is it a porno movie where a bunch of chicks dressed as nuns perform salacious acts (which does exist by the way).
It’s actually an extremely popular blog that entertains you by showing you the weird, grotesque, shocking or just plain nasty oddies that humanity and the internet has to offer.
Each day the Whore Church collects a bunch of hilarious images and videos under a strange topic like Joseph Gordon-Levitt fan girls, axe-cops or Japanese Underwear.
They do have weekly caturday collections, because let’s face it, cats are cute.
Interestingly enough, if you saw a single video or image by itself then it isn’t very humorous since the images and videos are so strange. But when the videos and images are shared in a collection, context is added and it becomes funny and entertaining. The Whore Church knows how to brilliantly weave random videos and images together, which in my mind, is a great example of curation.
