I woke up today and totally forgot it was Halloween until I saw a lady walking across the street dressed as a bumble bee. I quickly became nostalgic for when October 31st marked the commencement of a two week sugar high. Although all the Halloween parties already happened this weekend and my front door is inaccessible to trick or treaters, I figure its better to get into the spirit than reminisce my younger years. Also, tomorrow all of the Halloween candy goes on sale so I can still embark on that two week sugar high :)
Luckily when I signed into Redux there were tons of Halloween videos posted to help me get the right Halloween vibe going. Here are some of my favorites. Hope they help ya get in the right spirit as well. Have a safe and fun holiday!

This gets my point about sugar-filled happiness across perfectly. I was quite the snob about what candy I was given when I was younger. My least favorite were the Almond Joys.
The New York Zombie Crawl is where people dress up as zombies and walk the streets of ny to collect cans for the homeless and lower income. The next time In New York for Halloween I’m definitely doing this.
This is some trippy candy and the reason why my parents always went through everything before we were allowed to touch it. But honestly how likely is it that someone’s actually going to spend the time to drug all the candy they put out?

This is insane. If I lived near someone who did this to their house I’d have been in the Halloween spirit all month. Also this reminded me how much I love “Nightmare Before Christmas”, which I will now be renting tonight.
