Channel Spotlight: For the Love of Food

I love food. Like a lot. My friends and I can spend an entire evening talking about food we’ve eaten and want to try (although I still haven’t figured out if that’s because they love it as much as me or I’m incapable of talking about much else). The great thing about food is that, although there are snobs out there, its requires no knowledge or expertise to appreciate and love. That’s why I’m happy to present the new “For the Love of Food” channel on Redux.

This is a channel for anyone who appreciates a good meal and/or drink. It’s a great place to get some inspiration for a meal to cook or just to work up an appetite! I can’t watch more than 5-10 videos without craving some bomb food and a stiff drink. You might want to just have those by your side before you start watching.

Here are some of the most appetizing and inspiring videos in our food lovers channel thus far. Looking forward to seeing what you have to share as well.

In Search of Sake: Kyoto

Sake is more than just something you throw into beer with friends at hole-in-the-wall sushi joints. Take a look at the art and skill that goes into sake brewing.

DOUGH Donuts: A Far Cry From The Old Fashioned

Donuts get a make over at this Brooklyn-based donut joint. I can’t decide which of these I’d try first. The blood orange and the hibiscus ones sound really interesting.

How to Make Nut Milk

I’m an almond milk fiend and can’t wait to try making my own. If I’d known how simple it was to make I would have invested in a blender long ago.

John: The Tempeh Man

I’ve cooked with tempeh a few times but it kinda freaks me out. Seeing the process and how passionate John is about his tempeh making has inspired me to try it again.
